Free to Struggle
Last week I uploaded some family photos to social media. Let me just say that I absolutely love them and they are amazing. I will cherish those photos forever. I received so many wonderful compliments and kind words of how beautiful we all look. These comments truly are so sweet and meaningful, but I have to be honest, all those kind words made me cry. I cried at first because your thoughtfulness made me feel so grateful for all I have in life. … Continue Reading »

Time For An Update
Where did the last 4 weeks go? I feel like I blinked and it should be March still instead of April 11th. Sorry for our lack of posts lately. Life has been great, but really full! Full of times with family and friends and also full of cleaning, clearing and preparing. To sell our house—again. If you were following along with the blog in the fall then you know that I wrote a post about our family moving. Check it out here if you … Continue Reading »

Rewind
Have you ever had the chance to look back on something you wrote, spoke or did in your past? Thanks to Timehop—lots of us see the memories, the moments and get a taste of the good things that have been in our lives. I’m thankful for the baby pictures that I haven’t seen of my girls in a few years or a picture with a friend that marked a special moment for the both of us. Although it isn’t wise to live in … Continue Reading »

His Love is BIG
Thanks to Liz and Angie for letting me share my thoughts as a guest blogger! I live down the street from Liz and have enjoyed getting to know both her and Angie over the last year or so. I’m a fellow SAHM and blog somewhat infrequently at http://baaremans.blogspot.com. So, onto the post! As I watched the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics a few weeks ago, I was mesmerized by how many countries there are in the world. Sure, there were the big names … Continue Reading »

Why We Can’t Do It All {and how that’s a good thing!}
First I’d like to thank Liz and Angie for giving me the opportunity to be a guest blogger. I know both of them from our bible study group for medical and dental wives (and what is the chance that we are all from Ohio ?!) Seriously a small world! Ok onto the post…. If responsibility is good then more responsibility must be better. If busyness is good then more busyness is better. If structure is good, then more structure must be better. Aren’t … Continue Reading »

Our Infertility Journey
This week is National Infertility Awareness Week and I thought it would appropriate to open my heart and begin to share my story. I am not writing this post to complain about the path God gave me, but rather to give hope to other women. After going through infertility struggles, I’ve realized there are so many other women out there suffering through the same emotional and physical difficulties. I wish I had talked about my infertility with more people because now I realize the … Continue Reading »

On Your First Birthday
Although my daughter’s birthday was a couple of weeks ago, I wanted to share a little note I wrote for her. Just a little insight into my hopes for her! Enjoy! Love, Angie Happy 1st Birthday Baby Girl!! This year has flown by and it still amazes me everyday that God chose me to be your Mommy. You are spunky and silly and I love watching you grow. We waited for you for so long. Every night while I hold you before … Continue Reading »

January Favorites
What I’ve been loving this month— Recipe- These Chicken Gyros have been my favorite go to recipe every week this month. I’m not lying…you’ve gotta try these! The marinade is so good and makes the chicken taste AMAZING. We love any type of Mediterranean food—but this is now one of our favorites! This recipe is pretty light, healthy and easy to make! Music- We play A LOT of princess music or Disney Pandora stations at our house. We love it, but lately I’ve been trying … Continue Reading »
