I had an afternoon that all moms dream of…hauling your kids to the car dealer during nap-time to get your tire fixed. Righttttt.
With our busy morning and then car appointment this afternoon, I was in a rush and missed lunch. Now its the late afternoon and I’m in no mood to cook anything before preparing dinner. So, I quickly mixed up some guacamole and BAM– I’m satisfied!
I don’t get any credit for this super easy and delicious guacamole! All the credit goes to my mother-in-law. She first introduced me to this recipe (if you even want to call it a recipe)—and it is a STAPLE in our house.
Sometimes I make this for lunch like today, other times its for a snack, dip or appetizer before dinner. It requires nothing crazy at all…which is why I LOVE IT.
You only need 3 ingredients: avocados, the salsa of your choice and garlic salt.
Using 2 avocados cut and place them in a bowl. Add about 2-3 TBSP of salsa, and about 3 dashes of garlic salt.
Smash and mix it all together. (Add additional salsa or garlic salt to taste)
You can definitely make fancy and delicious guacamole, but this is SO simple and I think it’s just as good.
Hoping you aren’t sitting in the car dealer with your kiddos today and that this recipe comes in handy when you need something fast and tasty!
