Tough Stains Gotcha Down?!

This post is for all my laundry lovers out there! That’s probably no one by choice, but all of you because for obvious reasons—we all wear clothes (and hopefully clean them periodically) I am definitely not a guru in terms of what are the best, safest or cheapest laundry products out there, but I am an expert in washing clothes with LOTS O STAINS. Just this week for example, I’ve seen frosting, mud, food coloring, cherry juice, chalk and the lovely macaroni and … Continue Reading »

Mom Essentials {In Honor of Angie’s Baby #2}

This is totally a mom post! Especially for “moms to be” out there! In honor of Angie’s due date just around the corner, (eeek—so excited to meet Baby #2!!), we decided to do a little post about the essentials to pack in your hospital bag. We know each delivery, experience and baby is different—but we are hoping to give just a little insight for those momma’s out there or ladies who could be wondering! Frankly, when I was having my first baby, there … Continue Reading »

“Big” Girl Toddler Room

Like I said last week, I wanted to share some photos of our daughter’s new “big” girl room. We moved her out of the nursery since it’s already gender neutral and ready to go for this new little one (who will hopefully make his/her appearance any day now!!) I definitely went to town on the girliness of this room because I didn’t get to do anything girly for her baby room–so I let myself have fun! The initial inspiration  for her room started … Continue Reading »

Changes {the past few months}

YES everyone I am still here lol! I just realized I have not written a post in 3 months! Ah! (My sister even asked if I was still writing the blog with Liz and I assured her I was.) Our house has just been a little chaotic with lots of projects, traveling, and the normal stresses of life! Anyways, I promise I am still writing. To give you more of the scoop, I was in a little bit of a rut with Liz … Continue Reading »

Summer Bucket List

Is anyone doing a summer “bucket list” this year? Or maybe that’s just a fancy way of asking if you have summer goals or a to-do list, ha! The last few days, I’ve been thinking of a few things that could really help me embrace summer. Now that we have moved and the chaos has finally started to calm down, I’m ready to take a few deep breaths and focus on other things. The ideas I’ve been thinking of are actually super simple. … Continue Reading »

We Made It

After 8 months, our family moved to Atlanta! I posted earlier in April if you missed it, that we had listed our Augusta house for sale again. When people often asked about our timeline, I told them I was hoping and praying to move by June 1st. Well- surprise! It happened way faster than that. We moved May 12th.  Thankfully, within 5 days of listing our house, we had 2 offers! Praise hands all around!! So with a quickened timeline- we packed pretty … Continue Reading »

April Favorites

It’s time for another edition of my monthly favorites! With selling our house and my brain basically a bowl of mush, all I can really form into sentences for now is the stuff I’m really loving and think you all would love too! I’ve been heading over to the Pioneer Woman website a lot lately for recipe ideas. At the moment, I’m in love with her peanut butter pie! I’ve made this dessert twice in the last month. (…And I’ve been known to … Continue Reading »

Time For An Update

Where did the last 4 weeks go?  I feel like I blinked and it should be March still instead of April 11th. Sorry for our lack of posts lately. Life has been great, but really full! Full of times with family and friends and also full of cleaning, clearing and preparing. To sell our house—again. If you were following along with the blog in the fall then you know that I wrote a post about our family moving. Check it out here if you … Continue Reading »

Give Me Sleep NOW!!!!

I just wanted to share a resource with you all that can be a LIFESAVER for you as it was me! Since my daughter was born we’ve tried to use the Babywise scheduling techniques and wanted her on a schedule. As a side note, I know every parent wants what is best for his or her child and the method you choose is yours and no one should judge. For us, we wanted our daughter sleeping in her own crib and through the … Continue Reading »

2 Is The New You!

Today, my littlest girl turns 2. I’m admitting now that since she has no baby book, or for that matter, printed pictures in a real photo album, I’m laying some memories for her, here. #thirdchild (Photo credit-Angel Murphy Photography) To my wild, loud, and tender 2-year-old, Today, I can officially call you a toddler. But you are my baby—the one that will forever be my baby. Below are a few special things about you, from this last year. And also a few things … Continue Reading »
