Moving Out & Making a Coffee Table
Hi Everyone! I’m Kayla and I am Angela’s youngest sister! I’ve obviously known Angela my whole life and since her and Liz have been friends since elementary school I’ve pretty much known Liz my whole life too! I’m so excited and thankful they are letting me be a part of their blog today! Two years ago, at the ripe old age of 22, I moved out of my parents house for the first time— this was a HUGE step for me! Once I … Continue Reading »

When You Blog About a Bath Towel
When life is wild and everyone in your family has had the stomach bug, it is quite easy to feel like you can’t think straight. So seriously, since I’m camped out over here in the “my week was a blur” tent, I’m writing about literally what is right in front of my face. Sadly, that would be the laundry. And with the extra number of loads I’ve done this week, thanks again to our little stomach situation—I have here in front of me … Continue Reading »

His Love is BIG
Thanks to Liz and Angie for letting me share my thoughts as a guest blogger! I live down the street from Liz and have enjoyed getting to know both her and Angie over the last year or so. I’m a fellow SAHM and blog somewhat infrequently at http://baaremans.blogspot.com. So, onto the post! As I watched the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics a few weeks ago, I was mesmerized by how many countries there are in the world. Sure, there were the big names … Continue Reading »

BCD
Have you ever had a favorite dish that when you eat it, it brings back memories or makes you think of special people in your life? With friends on my mind and football season right around the corner, I thought I’d share one of my favorite dips—Buffalo Chicken Dip (BCD.) I know the exact date this dip became a part of my life (such a sentimental day, jk, lol!) My good friend and roommate Claire was attempting a “new dip” for a party … Continue Reading »

Why We Can’t Do It All {and how that’s a good thing!}
First I’d like to thank Liz and Angie for giving me the opportunity to be a guest blogger. I know both of them from our bible study group for medical and dental wives (and what is the chance that we are all from Ohio ?!) Seriously a small world! Ok onto the post…. If responsibility is good then more responsibility must be better. If busyness is good then more busyness is better. If structure is good, then more structure must be better. Aren’t … Continue Reading »

My PBS Obsession
I’ve got to set the record straight with you all— that I have a problem. And it’s an OBSESSION with shows on PBS. I can binge watch these TV series like it’s my job—if only someone would pay me, haha! If you’ve read my Austen Obsession post, then you know I am a fan of period pieces and chivalry. I used to think PBS and Masterpiece were for old people (sorry Nana!). But oh was I wrong! These shows have awesome story-lines and they … Continue Reading »
